All currently identified affected calling areas and associated telephone numbers have been routed around the suspected network path. While this mitigation has reduced the impact for known affected traffic, our investigation remains ongoing.
If you continue to experience call quality issues, please contact our NOC with the affected telephone numbers and call details. Our team can review the reports and, where applicable, include additional numbers in the current mitigation efforts while we continue working with our carrier partners toward a permanent resolution.

Identified -
The NUSO Operations team, in coordination with our Tandem and originating carrier partners, has identified potential network elements that may be contributing to the intermittent clicking sounds reported on a subset of inbound calls.
As a precautionary measure, we have started implemented routing adjustments designed to reduce the likelihood of calls traversing the suspected paths while our investigation continues. At this time, the issue remains intermittent and does not affect all inbound traffic.
Our teams continue to actively monitor call quality and work with our partners to further validate the source of the issue and implement any additional corrective actions as needed.

Investigating -
We are investigating reports of intermittent clicking sounds affecting a subset of voice calls. At this time, the issue does not appear to impact all traffic, and we have not identified a common source or pattern among the affected calls.
Our Operations team is actively engaged with our upstream carrier partner, Tandem, to isolate and determine the root cause. We continue to escalate internally and are closely monitoring the situation while additional troubleshooting is performed.
We will provide further updates as more information becomes available.
